I Made It!!

If you heard all the commotion this morning it was not Santa and his reindeer arriving early, it was me. I stepped on the scale this morning and I am finally in that magical place called Onederland!!!! It was one of the things I wanted most for Christmas. That now makes 90 lbs gone -- the equivalent of a newborn calf. WOW!
Do I even have to say what I am thankful for today?

The rest of the day will be hectic. I am waiting for a friend to call so I can meet her to pick up the candle gifts I ordered that just came in last night. I have to stop and buy more milk (we need a cow in this house), my car tag is due and I hope they are open today, then it is home to cook. Loren and I are baking toll house cookies and then we are going to prepare the lasagna so all I need to do is pop it in the oven tomorrow. I am making mussels and penne pasta for dinner tonight and then Loren, Stephen, and Ryan are headed to her parents' house for their Christmas together. They will be back after midnight and help us play Santa. Then it is to bed by 2 AM or 3 AM and up again early. Eric and April and Kevin and Christian will be here by 7 AM. Hopefully there will be some nap time tomorrow!

Last night we finally had the time and opportunity to drive to see some Christmas lights. It was the first time for Ryan and he loved it.
