I Can't Get Warm

This cold weather is the pits!! I can not get warm. I had my heater going at my desk all day and rushed back to it every time I had to get up for something. I think I am going to have to hit the thrift store again and buy some more heavy sweaters. I am just about down another size anyway and need to restock again. We wear jeans all of November and December at work -- in November we donate money to Pulmonary Hypertension Awareness to wear jeans and in December we donate to wear jeans and adopt a patient family for Christmas with the money. It is easier to dress warmly that way but it also means that come January the pants I wore in October will be too big.
Giorgi had a doctor appointment today. The first part of the appointment is always me alone with the doctor to review Giorgi's progress before she is brought in. Today Dr Kukas kept telling me how different I looked and how it must have been due to the "new" hair color and wearing it straight. I did not correct her and tell her I have had it straight and this color since April! By the way, Giorgi got an EXCELLENT report and we don't have to go back until April!
Today I am thankful for Dr Kukas -- she has been instrumental in diagnosing Giorgi's disabilities so that we can get the proper interventions and medications for her.
