Normal Diet

Today I can start back to a "normal" diet. The nurse manager from Phoenix is here for training. We took her to Chili's for lunch and it was so good to have a salad -- even just the 5 bites I could eat! Today was Eric's 26th birthday and he chose Olive Garden for dinner -- what I thought would be the hardest place to try to find something I could eat. Tell someone they can never eat pasta, rice, or bread ever again and then take them to an Italian restaurant! But, they happened to have grilled chicken and broccoli on the kids menu. Tomorrow I am taking Rebecca to Bricktown and Lynn wants to eat at Nonna's. That could be a challenge, especially the desserts, but Chuck said I could just bring it home to him. To be quite honest, I am not the least bit tempted by anything. It helps not to be hungry!
I have a lot of traveling for work coming up and I think that may be more of a challenge than anything. I will be in Arkansas at the end of August, possibly to Phoenix to continue on site training for Rebecca, and just found out today I have been selected to attend a HR training session in either Memphis or Pittsburgh next month.
The rest of the good news is that my first stall from adding back food is over and I am losing weight again!
