My tummy felt better today and no more reflux. The consensus was that my tummy may not be ready for certain veggies or salad yet, even just a few bites. I stuck to just the stage 2 mushies today. I will add back veggies slower and stick with the milder ones for now. I really need to work on increasing my protein more too. My calories are ranging anywhere from 130 - 600 per day with 45 - 80 % being from protein. Not too bad for just 1 month out, but it is time to step it up.
Tomorrow is support group meeting and the topic is Relationships Following Weight Loss Surgery. It should be pretty interesting. I have already experienced jealousy due to my seemingly effortless weight loss. I can assure you it is not easy or effortless!
By the way -- I have lost 44 lbs. That is the equivalent of an elephant's heart!
