Success

Just a short update for now -- I got to the hospital at 8:45 AM. I was wheeled into the operating room at 12:30 PM and the next thing I remember was it was 3:15 PM and I was being wheeled back into my room! Dr Walton said everything went well and there was hardly any bleeding. I have six incisions, which have hardly any bruising and look much like cat scratches. I have had no nausea. I have not really had any pain, but what I am having is esophageal spasms when I drink. Dr Walton said this is common and will resolve. But for now they are keeping me medicated with Dilaudid to help, so thus the short update. I will fill in more details at another time.
