Possible Delay -- Please PRAY!

Dr Walton called me today and wants me to see a hematologist before proceeding with surgery. His representative, Brandy, called right after he did about rescheduling my pre-op appointment and surgery. I had already made a call to the PA at the Oklahoma Center for Bleeding Disorders and asked if we could wait to hear back from them first. She agreed. Sarah called back and gave me the number to call to schedule an appointment with Dr Comp. Boy was I surprised when he answered the phone himself! He had talked to Sarah and asked when my surgery was. When I told him 7/7, he responded, "well let's see what we can do to get this done" and asked me to hold for his secretary to schedule the appointment. She got on and said he would see me at 8:30 am TOMORROW if I could be there. You bet I can!!! I called Brandy back and let her know. She agreed to let me keep my pre-op appointment but said it would be up to Dr Walton whether to reschedule or continue depending on the report from Dr Comp. I KNOW that Dr Comp will be okay with this. Even more complicated surgeries have been done on patients with no factor levels without any problem, but it is Dr Walton who needs to be comfortable with it. Please pray that things can still go as planned! I knew it was too good to be true that things were going so smoothly!
