First -- no major tornadoes last night! We did have thunderstorms, but not as severe as some we have had and they passed quickly.
After a crazy morning at work, I spent most of the afternoon on the phone trying to find out how to access the core drug benefit in order to receive my factor for surgery. I finally received a call back after 5 pm from one of the directors of the Hemophilia Health Services division with instructions on how to order factor once I have exact orders. I am sure glad I started now as the first dispense (and hopefully I won't need more than that) needs to ship from Nashville and can take 2 weeks to arrange.
I was talking to some of the other women at the support group last night and they all said I needed to call my Patient Advocate at WeightWise and request I turn my next visit on 6/27 into a pre-op visit since I am doing so well in my pre-op weight loss. I called and left her a message but it was late in the day and she has not called back yet. If she is willing to do that, then I can schedule the surgery for 2 weeks later in order to have the time to order the factor. If worse came to worst, I have factor here for Stephen that I could use and replace.
Loren and I are going walking again in the morning, then it is home to clean, clean, clean before the wedding next week!
