This post is part of "Hi/Lo Thursday" on the Riggs Family Blog. Check out their blog to read everyone else's "Hi/Lo" posts and for a chance to win $100.High: I promised to be honest in my journey and that I have shared, but there have been personal issues unrelated to this journey that I have not and will not share, but praying about them has payed off and one of my highs for this week is that they are much less of an issue this week! Another high -- through this blog and through Facebook I have reconnected with many friends and families. I asked your prayers for 2 little girls you have never met, Abby and Carmen. I am happy to report that both girls are doing much better today. Please continue to keep them in your prayers.
Low: Giorgi had her first meltdown in a long time this week. Thankfully, it was not as severe and did not last as long, but it is hard on all of us and a constant reminder of the loss she suffered before coming home from Romania.
Feel free to share your highs and lows as well!

Hi Nancy ... I found your site through the Riggs Family Hi/Lo Blog ... I love your blog and the honesty you write about! And congratulations on your successful surgery! I too have had Weight Loss Surgery - I had Open RNY in July of 2004 ... I weighed in at 303 the mornin gof surgery and am happy to report that I am 180 pounds almost 5 years out - not to mention I had my 2nd baby 6 weeks ago and can already get into my pre-preg jeans ... Your story and so many others are such an inspiration to so many people ... I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your story ... you are beautiful!
Hugs from MN!
