Another Milestone

I reached another milestone as of this morning -- I have now lost a total of 70 lbs -- the equivalent of an Irish Setter. Only 4 more pounds and I will be half way to goal weight. I am losing slow in comparison to those who have had gastric bypass, but I look at it in another way. That is, when was the last time I was able to lose a pound a week, AND keep it off?!
Every one at work waits to hear what my current weight loss equivalent is, but this one will go unnoticed. This morning we learned that the daughter of a woman I have worked with for 15 years was found dead early Saturday morning. She was 29 years old. It was a pretty somber day at the office today. Another daughter lives down the street from me so I stopped there on my way home to drop off pictures of Kristy that were in the office for her funeral video. An autopsy was done but as far as they know it was not a suicide or foul play. The funeral is Wednesday.
