Thumbs Up

I met with Dr Keller today, the psychologist. He reviewed my past history and the tests I took at the beginning of the week. He also spent a lot of time going over things I may experience post surgery. Some of his questions were very thought provoking. In the end, he pronounced that he could find no psychological reasons to recommend against surgery and said he would be giving a positive report to Dr Walton.
One of my biggest concerns was surviving the next few weeks as my family arrives for Stephen's wedding. I know there will be lots of eating out and extra busy days coming up. He said that I am doing so well so far and he feels that I am committed enough that he sees no reason I should not just take some days off and just enjoy the wedding and celebrations. I will have to keep up with the drinking though and I am definitely avoiding the caffeine!
